Information on "Electron Microscopy Seminar - TEM Introductory Course" (held on November 2023, 11)

The University of Tokyo's "Next Generation Electron Microscopy" Social Collaboration Course will be holding an electron microscopy seminar (TEM introductory course) from 2023.In the development of cutting-edge materials, structural and chemical analyzes at the micro, nano, and atomic scales are required, and electron microscopy has become an indispensable analysis technology.This seminar is aimed not only at beginners, but also at those who are considering using an electron microscope, and those who want to deeply understand the principles, etc., and take them to the next level in their electron microscope experiments.Specifically, in addition to an explanation of the hardware and the basics of electron diffraction and bright/dark field methods, we will introduce application examples such as TEM sample preparation methods and in-situ observation methods.We look forward to your active participation.
