TEAM FIVESTAR
The University of Tokyo × Hiroshima University × Japan Atomic Energy Agency
Materials that enable innovative energy conversion
Three unique institutions and five bases have formed a “five-star team” to provide generous support for a wide range of research centered on new-generation energy materials and devices.
In this area, the University of Tokyo's advanced microstructural analysis technology centered on electron microscopes, cutting-edge ultra-microfabrication technology, Hiroshima University's CMOS and power transistor technology, and JAEA's synchrotron radiation analysis of the structure and electronic state of materials We provide field analysis technology. The experimental data collected by these technologies are collected and stored in the University of Tokyo mdx: a platform for creating a society using data. We will contribute to the realization of an IoT society and an energy-saving/carbon-free society.
